SCHOLARSHIPS

Even though I'm not planning to go to a four year university right off the bat I still have been thinking a lot about scholarships. At first I was kind of worried that I couldn't ever get one but after being Dr. Preston's TA for his AP English course this year I know anyone can. I've been doing research on the four year I want to go to and I found a page where you can apply for scholarships and see when their deadlines are and other important information. I also found another website that might be helpful for scholarships, enternships, and maybe even job opportunities. Take a look and comment back if you have something I can use!

Never Thought This Would Happen...

I'm inspired. Who would think that a high school kid would want to do something having to do with school on their summer of their junior year. I'm entering a new phase right at this moment posting my first words of how I can make this final year of high school really count. I know my goals and I know how I'm going to use this course to achieve what I want. "Sometimes it's not WHAT you know it's Who you know". I have hated this phrase for as long as I have ever heard it but it is the deadly truth. The world is all about having connections, and in all honesty I don't have any. That's why I'm gonna use this class to make them. I have so many ideas about things I love that I wanna help to improve.

When I first heard this word I knew its what I wanted to be. It will take me sometime but I will achieve this by using this class to get to the next place on my journey of who I want to be. The funny thing is though right at this moment in time I'm positive I'll make it there eventually.
